The partners of the Interreg project « Otter across borders » are organising the european otter conference in antwerp on MARCH 12 & 13, 2026.

This year’s conference brings together leading experts and practitioners to explore the future of otter conservation across Europe.
MARCH 12 : Conference and knowledge exchange: Plenary and breakout sessions about state of the art of the European otter, projects about habitat restoration, ecological connectivity, coexistence and knowledge exchange.
MARCH 13 : FULL: Field trip to the National Parc Scheldt Valley : The National Parc Scheldt Valley stretches from the beautiful cities Antwerp to Ghent. Just outside Antwerp, the Polders of Kruibeke form a vital flood control zone under the Flemish Sigma Plan.
