The partners of the Interreg project « Otter across borders » were glad to have you at the european otter conference in antwerp on MARCH 12 & 13, 2026.
This year’s conference brought together leading experts and practitioners IN OTTER and NATURE CONSERVATION. About 300 people gathered to discuss the future of otters in europe.

MARCH 12 : Conference and knowledge exchange: Plenary and breakout sessions about state of the art of the European otter, projects about habitat restoration, ecological connectivity, coexistence and knowledge exchange.
Field trip
MARCH 13 : Field trip to the National Parc Scheldt Valley : The National Parc Scheldt Valley stretches from the beautiful cities Antwerp to Ghent. Just outside Antwerp, the Polders of Kruibeke form a vital flood control zone under the Flemish Sigma Plan. The visit was organised by the National Parc Scheldt Valley.
