Summary

Reporting to the CEO, the Operational Excellence Manager will be responsible for the development of an operational excellence program and its implementation. The program will include the development of a quality management system with the aim to continuously improve quality within the organisation. The position will work in close collaboration with the CEO to design the program and with the employees and managers to implement it. This role will serve as a catalyst for developing and encouraging a culture that is driven by impact, results, efficiency, transparency and accountability.

Your role

  • Working in close collaboration with the CEO to develop a “best in class” operations environment for the organization.
  • Being the ambassador for operational excellence, act as a champion and facilitator for improving operational efficiencies
  • Creating and communicating strategies aimed at changing behaviours while understanding inherent cultures, motivation and actions across departments.
  • Mapping and documenting practices and processes across the organisation
  • Developing a verification system to ensure compliance, accountability and transparency.
  • Setting-up a system of result monitoring and evaluation for the CEO (KPI Scorecard, etc.)

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • 5 years of similar experience: developing, initiating and supporting Operational Excellence initiatives in organizations
  • Record of delivering performance optimization and implementing changes across multiple functional areas
  • Preference towards Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Six Sigma certifications
  • French or Dutch native with fluency in English and in the second national language
  • Excellent computer skills (MS products, Minitab)
